Is any of this actually real?

Yes! While many of the situations in Overcompensating are exaggerated, they are all rooted in reality. Most of the identities are changed to protect people who act like they're innocent but really aren't.

Where does this take place?

Overcompensating takes place where I live, in the Faux Hamptons near where all the smoke is coming from.

Does you really have those tattoos?

Yes! I have two tattoos. I have Sheriff Pony on my right arm and Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama on my left arm. I am probably going to end up putting Zoiberg on a motorcycle.

Do you really have that moustache?

It is my phantom moustache that only shows up in comic strips.

What's that pink thing on your leg?

In May of 2004, I got bit by a brown recluse spider which almost killed me and they were surprised they didn't have to cut off my leg. As of July 2008 there are still no nerves there.

Is cartooning your full time job?

Yep. Well I guess running the world's largest webcomics merchandise company TopatoCo is technically my full time job but one wouldn't exist without the other.

Can you link to my comic?

I really only link to things I'm real familiar with so maybe? You can always get pretty good deals on the Project Wonderful ads on the sidebar.

Can I ask one of the other characters a question?

You can just use the contact form, you question will get around if it's funny enough.

I emailed you, how come you haven't emailed me back?

I get a crap-ton of email and sometimes can't get around to all of it. If it's real important just keep bugging me.

Why are some of the words missing on the older posts?

When we transferred everything over to Dumbrella Hosting, some pieces fell off. Unfortunately I haven't had time to go in and manually fix everything.
