I heard this guy call into a radio show regarding that child care thing. The guy said he was a smoker (the program would've been paid for by cigarette taxes) and he had two kids in private school and he didn't think it was his responsibility to pitch in to a deal what helps poor children because "if parents can't afford health care for their kids then they shouldn't have kids." My brain can't deal with this anymore. To be clear, you're more likely to die from heart disease than you are of getting shot, and still you're more likely to die of a staph infection or food-related illness than you ever would by terrorism, despite our government's apparent determination to enrage 75% of the world's population BLAH BLAH I hate everything and even I'm getting tired of my own crap.
Most people get their politics from chain emails anyway so there's really no point in trying to make some sort of difference with Overcompensating. Do come back for stories about our Chupacabra, which is not something you can get at Taco Bell (anymore).
