Mmm Bopp

I haven't made any big old racket about the new TopatoCo store because I don't consider it anywhere near finished yet. Also, by the time I had it fully functional I was honestly just sick of lookin' at it and ready to get back to makin' some serious comics. That's to be expected when you stare at one thing for an entire month. But that's how things like that are, I guess. Did the lady that built the Louvre just sit back and and enjoy it as soon as it was finished? No, she went right out and bought a bunch of really fancy stuff to hang up in it. And that's what I'm doin' now with the new store.

I built the store, and it seems to work really good. You can combine orders with almost all of TopatoCo's shipping clients, with everybody being included after we hammer out some details. We've got computerized inventory tracking so you know when you order something if it's gonna be shipped tomorrow or in a couple of weeks (and more accurately as time goes on), and now we get all your order info instantly at the office instead of waiting for them to be piece mealed in by all our clients, so we're on it each weekday. We got Phillip bustin' ass on the tech and about ten layers of security. I'm even trying to get everybody to pony up some freebies to drop into every package that goes out. In a few months we might even be as ubiquitous as any of those other dumb-ass internet t-shirt shops, except we'll actually, you know, come up with our own ideas.

In other news, at least they figured out how the computer works that Jesus' great-grandpa's roommate's cousin's buddy made.
