Now they're saying Prozac doesn't actually do anything. Yes there are some flaws in that study that I'm skeptical about, but I'm more skeptical about the alleged benefits of a drug that was conveniently found to help a condition that half of America just happened to be diagnosed with in the years following the drug's invention. Is it more likely that the medical industry in America is so top-notch that it cane detect and prescribe a drug for depression, or that the shitty medical industry has been so corrupted by pharmaceutical companies that the clinical definition of "depression" has been extended to include "some days I feel sort of sad?"
