Just so we're clear, vaccines do not cause autism. I could link to a million sites pointing out this fact, but there are a million sites to counter those. However, if you decide to do some "e-search," keep this in mind. The sites that explain how vaccines do not cause autism are sober and rational, and endorsed by scientists and doctors who have nothing to gain from a mysterious disease with no known treatment or cure ($$$). The sites that tell you that vaccines are linked to autism are frequently littered with banner ads that encourage you to live in a small underground shelter and hoard food, guns, gold, and water while you wait for the New World Order to... make your life somehow worse than nervously eating dog food in a shelter? Also keep in mind these sites frequently cite as experts a woman whose job used to be to fart on MTV and a man who was in Hot Shots. Autism is pretty bad, and now that we've figured out that vaccines do not cause it, we might wanna consider maybe spending more time finding out what does cause it.
In deciding not to link to sites about this, I ran across a site that explained that vaccines cause autism because, hey, the Amish don't have autism! One must also keep in mind that the Amish do not expose themselves to about 90% of what the rest of Americans do daily.
Anyway those are my opinions about autism so I am prepared for a junk-punching. Tomorrow's comic will be about something funny, like "Bromance."
