Flipping people off is really too vague for today's fast-paced, internet-savvy society. Unless it's accompanied by a smirk from sombody I know I don't know what to do. Apparently it can mean anything from "stare straight ahead and ignore me" to "reach under your seat and show me your gun" depending on the situation. We should just stop flipping each other off unless we're kidding. The End.
