The War on Groundhog's Day is a war we can't afford to ignore any longer. Groundhog's Day used to be about the Groundhogs, man -- about the Blessed Baby Groundhog and the Night of a Million Lightning Bugs. It was about giving thanks for Wood and Dirt, about burning the Giant, Wicker Groundhog and with it out regrets. It was about Running Around in Circles until you hear The Whistling. I miss going into stores and hearing them say "Happy Groundhog's Day."
Now it's all this pomp and circumstance, merchandising, the weather. People just use Groundhog's Day as an excuse to know what the weather is going to be like. I miss what Groundhog's Day used to be about. Let's take it back.
Don't forget that me and Doc Hastings [site] and Joey Softerworld [site] are gonna be at this gaming con in upstate New York this weekend! It's called Running Gagg. Okay!
