There is a reason I didn't specifically mention British Petroleum in this comic. The reason is because that while the current situation is the most horrible oil problem of all time, as long as they keep pumping oil out of places where ain't nobody can get to it if something goes wrong, it's gonna keep happening and this comic will remain relevant. Apparently there's over 4,000 offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico alone.1It's happened before. Many, many times. And it will happen again and again, until cars run on water and nothing is made out of plastic anymore, and factories run on wishes, and they bring back Arrested Development back in a way that satisfies everyone.
And when the dolphins finally seek vengeance it will be swift, it will be painful, and it will be completely justified.
