Continued from yesterday and Diesel Sweeties, it's Edge to Edge Part Two! Edge to Edge is obviously a riff on Coast to Coast AM, a paranormal talk show that was once great when it was hosted by Art Bell, who got burned out handed the reigns over to George Noory, an adult idiot who doesn't understand the difference between blindness and shutting your eyes and has basically transformed the show into anything that has to do with end-times prophecies and energy healing. He frequently has guests on who claim cancer can be cured with positive thinking. It's stupid, and I think he's stupid.
However writing these two comics has made me realize that I house within me an incredible amount of knowledge about insane conspiracy theories. Like, I could probably teach a class about them, or at least make a comic series about them. Or a tongue-in-cheek paranormal podcast. What do you say, R Stevens? What do you think about that?
